Scholarship Tests Tutoring & Preparation
Tailored 1-on-1 Tutoring for Students Preparing for a Scholarship Test
WHAT IS A SCHOLARSHIP?
A scholarship is either a partial or full contribution to a student’s school fees at a private high school. Some scholarships also require students to sit scholarship exams each year to maintain the scholarship.
HOW DO I GET A SCHOLARSHIP?
To receive a scholarship, year 6 students must apply to sit a scholarship test for the high school/s they wish to enter. There is no limit to the amount of scholarship tests a student may sit, and the test format and dates vary from school to school.
PREPARATION FOR A SCHOLARSHIP TEST
Parents and students should obtain as much information as possible about the scholarship test for the particular school/s they are interested in attending.
We recommend providing this information to a tutor to be able to commence specialised 1-on-1 tutoring for a year leading up to the test to ensure the student is very familiar with the format and content of the particular test/s they will be sitting. This way, the tutor will be able to provide practice questions and exams which will be directly compatible with the particular test/s the students will be sitting.
