Samuel
Hi, I’m Sam! I’m the Director of Hawkeye Education. I finished my combined Biomedical Engineering and Advanced Science degree in 2016 at the University of Sydney. I then went on to complete a Master of Intellectual Property at UTS and became a registered Patent Attorney in 2020.
I love running Hawkeye Education because it has given me the opportunity to meet and mentor so many wonderful students over the years. With the amount of students enrolling with us, I wasn’t able to personally mentor and tutor every single one, so I have brought together, and am very proud of, our intelligent and nurturing team of tutors, who go above and beyond just delivering academic content. Every student deserves a mentor!
THE ULTIMATE STUDY TIP: Four words for Year 11 and 12 students - past papers, exam conditions! Otherwise, what I wish I had learnt earlier is: To get good at recall, you must recall!
Tom
Hi, I’m Tom! I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science and Psychology at The University of Sydney.
Tutoring and watching my students improve year after year is so fulfilling that it doesn’t even feel like work!
A study tip that I believe is useful is to start with hardest task first so the rest will feel easier! You always have more energy at the start of a study session than at the end.
I love hanging out with friends, travelling and watching my favourite TV shows.

Noshin
Hey, I’m Noshin! I’m currently a first year university student at UTS studying a double degree of Arts and Law.
I love tutoring subjects that I am passionate about. It brings me so much joy to pass on my passion and knowledge of these subjects to my students, while I help them to strive for good grades.
A study tip I found useful was studying for periods of time that best suited me as an individual. Everyone is different, and not everyone likes to study for 2 hours at a time, for example. Some students are more comfortable studying for shorter or longer periods of time. Find a good study time period for you!

Bob
Hi, I’m Bob! I'm on my way to becoming a high school English teacher and am studying a Master of Teaching at UTS.
I tutor because I love learning, mentoring and writing! Helping students to engage and learn in their own individual ways and seeing them realise their potential and grow is so rewarding and enjoyable.
My main study tip for students: Let each mistake be another opportunity to learn! Keeping a positive mindset and a strong work ethic is also really important to help you perform at your most optimum in your exams and assignments!
I love reading, cooking, art and watching movies.
